Description
Global Supply Chain, Medical Devices & Diagnostics External Operations is recruiting for a Supply Chain Planning Leader within the Global Orthopedics Group for the DePuy Synthes Spine business unit. This position will be based in Raynham, MA and will report to the Sr. Planning Manager of the External Operations Planning group.
The Supply Chain Planning Leader will lead the supply planning and scheduling processes for the External Operations (EO) team supporting DePuy Synthes Spine. This person will lead a team responsible for attainment of target service levels, while achieving target inventory objectives. The Supply Chain Planning Leader will efficiently convert global demand requirements into an attainable supply plans for finished goods manufactured by external partners. The Supply Chain Planning Leader will create the monthly S&OP package for the key external plants and will lead the EO input to the Spine business unit Supply S&OP.
Responsibilities include production scheduling, product launch planning, capacity planning, inbound order fulfillment, inventory management, distribution, and transportation. The Supply Chain Planning Leader will support the design, development, and institutionalization of a best practice global S&OP process with key external partners for the DePuy Synthes Spine business unit. They will collaborate with the internal demand planning organization to formally receive WW demand plans. They will lead external partners in the process to rationalize supply and demand, taking into account capacity and inventory. The Supply Chain Planning Leader will support the process to integrate new externally manufactured products into this S&OP process. This includes conducting scenario-based supply analyses to evaluate risks associated with events and developing contingency plans with our external supply chains. The ability to complete complex spreadsheet analysis is required to support best practices in master scheduling, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, and scenario planning. This includes the ability to utilize the planning systems to gather the key data needed to drive business decisions. This person will support MD&D External Operations agility and reliability efforts including analysis and reporting on a monthly basis.
The Supply Chain Planning Leader will have extended leadership responsibilities beyond their portfolio of externally manufactured products. This person will advise External Operations management on business and project status. They will serve as the 'go-to' person for the product portfolios assigned within their team. Additional responsibilities as a team leader may include hiring, training, performance evaluation, work scheduling, etc. Additional responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or Operations is required. A minimum of five years of related experience in supply chain management, production planning, and/or materials management is required. Strong analytical skills are required. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the company and across a global supply chain organization is required. The ability to influence others in a matrix environment is required. The ability to lead with minimal supervision and to work independently with a strong sense of urgency is required. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. In depth knowledge of manufacturing control systems (ERP) and processes is preferred. Experience and/or certification in Lean or Six Sigma processes are preferred. APICS certification is strongly preferred. The candidate will be expected to certify once hired, if he/she does not already possess.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
