Description of Lean Support Role
The Lean Support Person will join a team of change leaders (Lean Support, Green Belt, Black Belt, and Lean Sensei) in their support of the DePuy Synthes Raynham Continuous Improvement (Lean) initiatives, including the deployment of the Lean program.
This position is visible and dynamic in the organization.
It requires a person who is enthusiastic, a change agent, and tenacious, as well as professional and articulate.
In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting Continuous Improvement/Lean events, 5s events, and other administrative activities as driven by the Continuous Improvement (Lean) Leadership.
Requirements for Lean Support resource Include:
Ability to participate and assist the Continuous Improvement (Lean) projects.
Ability in working with floor staff during and after Lean/6s events.
Exposure to Lean within a manufacturing environment.
Computer skills: Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to build positive working relationships within a variety of settings.
Demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to positively support a transforming organizational culture to adapt to improved processes and performance metrics.

Knowledge of Lean concepts and principles.
Knowledge of Change management skills, process, and culture.
Experience with the deployment of Process/Continuous Improvement in an organization.
Knowledge of Visio and Access.
Informal Leadership experience and ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels.

Minimum Level of Education:
(Other education, commensurate experience, and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.)
High School required
Desirable Level of Education: Associates Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
