is looking for an experienced construction service industry bookkeeper.
This position requires individuals to multi-task, be highly organized and detail oriented, and be able to work on a team.
Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to stay focused at the task at hand.
The candidate must posses strong Microsoft operating systems capabilities, effective communication skills, a solution orientated attitude and ability to work collectively with other team members.
This role is essential to the production of timely and accurate financial reporting and will be responsible for monthly reconciliation of accounts within the accounting software, as well as an aid in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Minimum 10 years bookkeeping experience and 3
years' experience in QuickBooks online required.
Responsibilities Handle routine accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes.
Manage daily cash deposits to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and send out weekly invoices to clients and customers in a timely manner.
Verify and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate accounts payable records.
Assist in generating purchase orders and tracking procurement activities.
Maintain organized vendor records and documentation for easy reference.
Accurately process and record incoming invoices for payment.
Review and process employee expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Reconcile bank statements to maintain accurate cash balances.
Handle AIA (American Institute of Architects) billing for construction projects in a precise and timely manner.
Track and record costs associated with specific jobs or projects within the company.
Assign and manage cost codes for various expenses and projects.
Process employee payroll using QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations.
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports as required by regulations.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on the company's financial performance.
Requirements 5 years bookkeeping experience 3 years in construction or service trade industry 3 years using Timberline/Sage (preferable) Experience using Service Titan (preferable) Experience using QuickBooks Online (REQUIRED) Microsoft Office Microsoft Excel (required) Schedule 8 Hour Shift This position is offered as a hybrid model with candidates required to be local to our headquarters in Raynham, MA and be in office 1-2 days per week.
